These are all traits that we want our students to strive for because not only will that take them far in their careers, it will also take them far in life. Building character gives life substance and meaning and in turn motivates people to reach their goals.

SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY
When we say supportive community we don’t just mean shouting words of encouragement from the sidelines. We mean actively creating a safe learning environment where young adults are free to explore their interests, take risks, make mistakes, and confidently pursue their goals.

MARKETABLE SKILLS
There are many skills that are absolutely necessary to have in order to get a job. As a young adult trying to understand the job market it can be hard to know which skills to are necessary for their specific career path. It is our goal to guide out students to focus on the right skills for their future.

We exist to break generational poverty in underserved young adults thereby fulfilling our mandate to love our neighbor as ourselves.
OUR MISSION
We created Just Work Skills to equip young people with work and life skills that will help them to become productive members of their communities. It is important to us that we are not just giving young people a way to make money. We want to encourage youths to be a part of their community and push others toward success.

How We Work
Breaking the cycle of generational poverty in young people of underserved communities cannot be achieved easily or quickly and certainly cannot be solved by our efforts alone. We recognize that the issue is dynamic, complex, and deep rooted.
Therefore, we collaborate with industry, businesses, individual experts, and other non-profits who already provide a variety of services to underserved communities to each bring our part to the eco-system of support for young people we serve. We strive to engage with our partners in a spirit of trust, candid communication, and transparency.
